Frequently asked questions
How do I add my first vehicle?
Open the app, go to Vehicles and tap +. Pick petrol, diesel, CNG or EV (or a dual-fuel setup), give it a name and an avatar, and you're ready to log your first fill-up.
How is mileage (kmpl) calculated?
Bharometer uses your odometer readings between full-tank fill-ups to work out real-world kmpl (or km/kg for CNG). For the most accurate numbers, log full tanks and keep your odometer entries up to date.
My fuel data isn't syncing between devices
Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on both devices, that iCloud Drive is on, and that iCloud sync is enabled in Bharometer's settings. Give it a moment on Wi-Fi — sync happens in the background.
Can I track CNG in kg?
Yes. Set the vehicle's fuel type to CNG (or dual-fuel), and Bharometer records fills in kg and calculates km per kg automatically.
Does Bharometer show fuel prices?
Bharometer tracks the price you actually pay. When you log a fill-up it records your rate per litre (or per kg for CNG) and shows your last-paid price and running average — so your costs always use your real numbers, not city estimates.
How do I restore or back up my data?
With iCloud sync enabled, your data is backed up to your iCloud automatically and restores when you reinstall the app and sign into the same Apple ID.
Is there an Android version?
Bharometer is on iPhone today, with Apple Watch and widgets. An Android version is planned — email us to add your vote.
